The DNA based data storage involves multiple advantages including high storage density, long storage life-span, low energy consumption, easy data backup and so on. To store information into DNA, the codec systems "translate" data into DNA sequence and vice versa is critical. "Storage-D" is an online tool1, that encodes computer data into A/T/C/G sequence with personalized parameters and vice versa. It integrate multiple validated algorithms including those proposed by Church et al.2, Goldman et al.3, Erlich et al.4 and Ping et al.5 and a "Wukong" codec algorithm1.

Specifically, users could encode their data into DNA sequences with personalized “codec pin” implemented under “Wukong” codec algorithm. It is adapted to both PC and mobile end.
